Thank you so much for your reply. I can't say the same: I just had the chance to try it and I sometimes shoot with a Leica Q. Leica quality is paramount and I totally agree with you, the Q already operates like this, cropping "in camera" to get different kind of lenses like the 35 and the 50 (if I remember well). The lenses are superb, to say the least.
